Scarab is strictly designed as a local-first desktop application. All exploratory data analysis, statistics computation, and file reading happen entirely on your local hardware. We do not collect, transmit, store, or view any of the datasets you process using the application.

While the core application operates entirely offline and does not collect user telemetry, we utilize third-party services for payments and digital distribution, specifically Gumroad. When you purchase Scarab, Gumroad may collect personal information such as your email address, payment details, and IP address in accordance with their own respective privacy policy.
